Sandhill One has developed a unique synthetic approach for the production of active ingredients that does not rely on any animal derived starting materials and is therefore not subject to these potential supply chain interruptions.

We have identified several plant derived starting materials which can be converted to a number of intermediates and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API's) using a combination of chemistry and synthetic biology.

Our approach relies heavily on catalysis, and as a result, provides unique access to several targets cost effectively while simultaneously eliminating the supply chain risks.
